R.I.P Peter Boyle
Peter Boyle died Tuesday evening at New York Presbyterian Hospital, he was 71. He had been suffering from multiple myeloma and heart disease.
I'm sure many will remember him as Raymond's dad in Everyone Loves Raymond, but I will always remember him first and foremost as The Monster in one of the funniest movies ever, Young Frankenstein. No one (not even Taco) sang a better version of Putting On the Ritz, of course with the help of Gene Wilder.

Oh lord I hated Everybody Loves Raymond, but what an excellent gig for Mr Boyle! Despite his impressive resume, I'll always remember him most as Frankenstien and Jocko Dundee from Johnny Dangerously. And I'll try to forget his excellently played role as the toxic racist father in Monster's Ball.
